Two years ago today, Harry Kalas passed away. Eerily, it happened in Nationals Park, where the Phillies are right now, set to take on Washington in the second game of a three-game series.
Listening to Harry Kalas call all of those games year after year was a privilege I cherished and always will. It's been two full years since we last heard him call a game, yet he's still the first person I think about every time I watch a Phillies game. We may never get to hear him call a live game again, but Harry will forever be in our hearts. Watching and listening to baseball just hasn't been the same without him.
R.I.P. Harry.
