True story: Back in college, Sundays in the fall were damn near just as exciting as Saturdays, mainly because it was the time when we could get away from the Steelers simply by putting the Eagles game on instead. And my one roommate, for all three years in which I lived with him, would blare "Gonna Fly Now," aka the Rocky theme song, before every Eagles game and get everyone insanely fired up.
This literally happened for every game that he wasn't actually attending. True story.
So with the Eagles kicking off their preseason tonight against the New England Patriots and Enrico over at The700Level coincidentally posting this this morning, it was almost as if I was back in college for a moment. If only that were the case.
Let the 2013 NFL season begin.
