It's Only Gonna Get Funner

If you came here looking for some sort of preview of the Phillies-Reds series, or predictions, or anything with any substance whatsoever, it ain't happening. You can read all that stuff virtually anywhere else. I'm too excited to analyze. Too hyper to put down coherent thoughts.

I came into work early just so I could leave at 4 to be nice and ready for Roy Halladay's first ever postseason pitch. It's not even 9 o'clock and I already can't concentrate. 5:07 can't come soon enough. It's been a fun season — an MLB-best 97 wins, the acquisition of Roy Oswalt, Mike Sweeney's hugs, Cole and Chooch and Valdez and everything else — but it's only gonna get funner.

    Okay, you don't have to do a preview, but you do have to do recaps of every game. You've done so for two years. It's your duty to keep the tradition going for a third year.
