Big News?

I'll throw it out for the Rev since all that porn he's been downloading at work caused his office's computers to break down, but Elton Brand's 2009 season is finished (what's that, you say, you didn't realize it began?). He's due for a shoulder surgery as early as Monday as well as 4 more years and more than 66 million bucks.

It's been brought up plenty on this site and many others how ineffective Brand has been this season. At least now he has an excuse for his poor play since returning from the initial injury in mid-December.

My thoughts are basically this...

1. So what? The Sixers play a more entertaining and effective brand of basketball without him (or is that Mo Cheeks?).

2. Injury-prone is a label that can no longer be argued for Mr. Brand.

3. Bottoms of rims everywhere, cringe in fear, as Reggie Evans will be seeing more playing time and making proponents of "Hustle play" regret their stance.

BallHype: hype it up!

Somebody's been working on their puns.

    3. Chris Kaman's testicles, cringe in fear, as Reggie Evans will be seeing more playing time and making proponents of "Hustle play" regret their stance.

    Fixed.
