That has to get annoying, having the entire organization overshadowed by one player who played the bulk of his career before the organization even existed. And to rub salt in the wound, that player, who is synonymous with basketball itself, built his reputation and played his entire career with the Los Angeles Lakers, the team the Magic are facing in the Finals down 2 games to 1.
Honestly, it has to suck that Magic Johnson will forever be the first thing that pops into everyone's mind when the words Magic and NBA or Magic and basketball are put together. Orlando is forever the second fiddle to the man responsible for "The Magic Hour."
