That's what Deadspin Editor and Philadelphian A.J. Daulerio seems to be hinting at here, and I gotta tell you, I don't disagree with the guy.
A.J. does a brilliant job laying out the questionable nature of Andrews, and his arguments are eloquent, thorough and well though out. A.J. doesn't say Andrews is necessarily lying, and neither am I, but I agree with him 100 percent that there more than a few reasons to be skeptical about the whole thing. Read it. The man makes some great point.

I'm not so sure about "brilliant". The truth is that not too many of the so-called experts who are writing and talking about Andrews' situation know a damned thing about the subject matter.
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't stop them from writing and talking though.

Very true. But you do have to admit that it was pretty odd that he didn't come out with it this whole time while missing camp, but then once he admits it, he's on every freakin media outlet in Philadelphia.
ReplyDeleteI just hope for his sake and the Eagles he gets himself better and gets on the football field.
Also, very good post on your site. You make a lot of great points, and yes, we don't know. Doesn't mean I can't be skeptical though.
