Off-Topic: Politics in the Office

I work for a publishing company. My job entails writing and editing about things not directly related to politics in any way, shape or form for the most part.

Yet, day in and day out, co-workers send me political e-mails and try to talk politics with me. And this annoys the living shit out of me. Like to no God damn end. I don't give a rats ass about politics. At all. Call me ignorant. Or an asshole. Or whatever. Guilty as charged.

But I'm not at work to listen to your stupid, fucking political beliefs. I don't give a shit. I'm 24 years old and not registered to vote. And you know what? I have no desire to register either. And I'm not going to. So keep sending me videos like this, as if it will somehow influence my stubborn ass.

I will say that I like the first half of this video immensely. You know what, Leo, I will heed that advice. I won't vote. Unless it's voting for the Phillies to win the World Series or the Eagles to fire Andy Reid, you aren't getting my vote. So fuck off Barack Obama and John McCain supporters. I don't give a fuck.

P.S.—Unless Charles Barkley runs for president some day. Then I'll register and vote out the ass for Sir Charles. Good day.

  1. I respect your stance and as an americna you have the right not to vote. They are all sleazy dirtbag criminals anyway. At least this election gives some life to SNL, thanks Tina Fey.
