No, I'm serious. Joey Porter said something that makes sense.
From the Orlando Sentinel via The Big Lead:
When Joey Porter talks, better listen, he'll stir some things up.
The Dolphins linebacker had this to say on Matt Jones during a conference call today:
"I'm still trying to figure out how a guy who gets caught with cocaine in his car and he still plays the game and nothing happens to him ... and he had no penalty or nothing.
"I'm still tying to figure that out…he got caught with cocaine in his car and Matt Jones is still up there playing football…I can't.figure how you get away with that and you fine people 20,000 for making a comment about the media, refs, saying how they feel, yet this is about a guy getting caught with cocaine and nothing happened…."
Three weeks ago we first heard that Jones was suspended for three games, but planned to appeal that suspension and still nothing. Jones said he's still waiting to hear his fate, and though he'd like to get it over with, he doesn't have much of a choice but to wait.
He makes a valid point, believe it or not.
