That is Jelani Jenkins, a senior linebacker at Our Lady Of Good Counsel in Maryland. Rivals.com has him rated as the top outside linebacker in the class of '09 and the 10th ranked recruit in the nation. Scout.com has him at No. 2 for weakside linebackers. Suffice to say, he's a stud, and that video is scary.
Well, apparently, young Jelani has narrowed his choices down to Florida and Penn State. I have to admit, seeing as the Gators just won their second national championship in three years, and, you know, play in Florida, I don't like the Nittany Lions' chances of nabbing him. But it would sure be sweet. Just another reason to make sure master recruiter Larry Johnson Sr. stays put, to help sway Mr. Jenkins to call Happy Valley home.
