Big Least, huh, I Mean, East

Far be it from me to disagree with silver fox, but, uh, the Big East kind of sucks. Last night, Cleveland State proved that again against Syracuse, in the Carrier Dome, by beating the Orange with an incredible buzzer-beater:

Um, yeah, the Big East looks pretty awful right now. So much for all that preseason hype.

BallHype: hype it up!

  1. Granted, the Big East is underperforming right now(it only makes sense that this would happen after I write about about how good a conference it is). They have some atrocious losses. However, that 'Cuse loss was a fluke, and they have some solid wins as well (ND over Texas, G-town over Memphis). And Syracuse is nowhere near the cream of the crop in the conference. Either way, lets leave the final decision for March.

  2. Oh, you mean when UNC steamrolls to the title? OK.

  3. If UNC wins the title then so be it, they are obviously a great squad (plus the refs are always on their meat so that doesn't hurt their chances), I'm just sayin lets see how many Big East schools are in the tourney and lets see how the tourney shakes itself out, that's all.

  5. It's a deep conference. Top to bottom the best in the country by far. A lot of potential there. That's all I'm sayin.
